Summary of position

We are looking for a partner team/Life partners to join us in the exciting and high demand industry of Provincial park operations. You will oversee all aspects of operations as park operators at Cinnemousun Narrows provincial park, located on the beautiful Shuswap Lake. You will report directly to the General manager.

This unique Park operator opportunity is designed for a partner team/life partners. Beginning May 8th, 2026 and would run to September 15, 2026

Summary of the role

As a Park Operator your responsibilities would be the daily cleaning, maintenance and collection of fees in a semi remote provincial park. All tasks of daily facility management would be utilized. Painting, pruning, raking, washing, grooming and sweeping. We ensure all facilities are kept up to BC Parks standards. Anyone who camps in a marine park, requires a permit. It would be your responsibility to record, collect and issue a permit to all guests. Facilities that need to be managed include: Campsites, trails, pit toilets, docks, shelters.

-This is a live in position
-A company owned houseboat is provided for you to live in on site.
-We will provide all propane for you, which runs the hot water, fridge and stove
-The houseboat utilizes solar and generator for power, wood stove for heat.
-There is no washroom in the houseboat, a pit toilet is located close by.
-There is limited cell service in the park, but Star link will be provided
-There is hot water and shower on the houseboat.

You will be responsible for all your food and personal supplies

What you will bring to the table

Boat operation experience. We run a 18′ split window aluminum boat w/ outboard. 2-4 seats. Covered top.

Pleasure craft operator certified
Handyman experience an asset.
Maintenance or mechanical experience an asset (not required)
A current Standard first aid certificate
Comfortable speaking with people
Comfortable enforcing rules and regulations
Adaptable and trainable
Independent and reliable
Self starting and motivated
Team Player, able to work well together and with others
Some experience working together as a team. This is not a position for trial
