Looking for an opportunity to get outdoors this summer? We are looking to add energetic, go-getters to our team of Park Operators at beautiful Monck Provincial Park, located in Quilchena, BC, approximately 22km North of Merritt on the shores of Nicola Lake .

This is a seasonal, 40hr per week, per person, opportunity available from approximately May 1st, 2026 to Thanksgiving Weekend 2026. This opportunity would be ideal for a partnered team looking for opportunities to both work and play together, or individuals who work well within a team environment and are able to work collaboratively.

Successful applicants would be required to stay on site if they are not within a reasonable commuting range and applicants would have to supply their own RV/trailer/camper. There is a free host site available for the successful applicant(s) with access to water, sani-station and toilets (please be advised that electrical and direct sewer hook ups are not available within the Park).

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Camper registration and fee collection
  • Enforcement of Park Policies
  • Cleaning of campsites and trails
  • Cleaning/restocking washroom facilities
  • Garbage collection
  • Landscaping duties: litter pick-up/mowing/weed whacking/raking/leaf-blowing/etc.
  • Painting and minor infrastructure repair/maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned by the Park Manager

Required Skillset:

  • Positive attitude is everything!
  • Team player who can take direction/training
  • Enjoyment/appreciation of nature
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Handyman skills are an asset but not required
  • Must possess a flexible mindset with a positive, respectful and helpful demeanor
  • The ability to trouble-shoot and implement work-arounds on the fly and as needed
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative/self-discipline to work without direct supervision
  • Should have a natural enjoyment of working with the public
  • Can maintain a calm, consistent, and professional attitude in the face of adversity
  • Driver’s license is required and successful applicants will need to provide a drivers abstract

*Experience is not necessary, but is an asset. All training will be provided*

*Starting wage $20-$23 an hour based on experience*
